news East Clare Fiddle Festival 2 May 2010 I'll be teaching and performing at the inaugural East Clare Fiddle Festival this summer. The festival features classes, sessions, a concert and a ceili. It takes place in Feakle, County Clare, from 30th June - 3rd July. Other tutors are James Kelly, Tony Linnane, Eileen O'Brien and Tony Trundle. The festival is being run by Ged Foley, himself a renowned traditional musician. For more information or to apply for the classes, please see www.eastclarefiddlefestival.com The Kilfenora Collection 1st May 2010 I'm currently working on a collection of the music of the Kilfenora Ceili Band. The collection will feature every tune and song from their seven albums, and is quite an undertaking! All being well, I hope to take the collection to print and it could be a great resource for anyone interested in the band's unique repertoire. There's a bit of a way to go yet though!
